January 31, 2025: Crozet, VA 22932 Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 26-12 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Warriors host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to face the Flying Flucos in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Flying Flucos enter the match with a record of 10-2. Fluvanna County won 53-26 in their recent non-league match against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlottesville for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4.
