Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Cranston East knocks off South Kingstown
January 31, 2025: Cranston, RI 02910 The Cranston East Thunderbolts ice hockey team scored 4 points and held the visiting South Kingstown Rebels to 1 in the Thunderbolts non-league victory on Friday.
The Thunderbolts now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Raphael Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Cranston East will encounter a Saints team coming off a 13-7 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Saints record now stands at 9-3.
With the defeat, South Kingstown moves to 3-12 on the season. The Rebels host Cumberland (Cumberland, RI) to encounter the Clippers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Cumberland won 7-4 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, RI)
