In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Mary's Prep Eaglets ice hockey team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Houghton Gremlins.

The Eaglets (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 24-5 record. In their last contest, St. Francis de Sales was nipped by Howell (Howell, MI), 5-3, in a non-league contest.
