January 31, 2025: Chicago, IL 60655 The Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) basketball toppled the visiting Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), 44-34 in Friday's league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 22-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marmion for a bout on Tuesday, February 4. Brother Rice will play a Cadets team coming off a 42-30 non-league loss to Leo (Chicago, IL). The Cadets record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Fenwick falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Friars travel to Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL) to play the Knights in a bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Providence-St. Mel lost 56-32 in their recent league bout against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL)
