Wisconsin High School Basketball - Webster nips Birchwood
January 4, 2022: Webster, WI 54893 Webster Tigers (Webster, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Birchwood Bobcats (Birchwood, WI), 51-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Webster upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Turtle Lake (Turtle Lake, WI) to play the Lakers in a Lakeland - West bout on Friday, January 7. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Turtle Lake won 69-33 in their recent non-league bout against Colfax (Colfax, WI)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Cornell Chiefs (Cornell, WI) in a Lakeland - East bout, on Friday, January 7. Birchwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 60-31 non-league win over Gilman (Gilman, WI).
