Ohio High School Basketball - Miami Trace holds off Circleville
January 4, 2022: Washington Courthouse, OH 43160 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Courthouse, OH) and the visiting Circleville Tigers (Circleville, OH), saw Miami Trace's basketball squad hold off Circleville by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Miami Trace improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH) to confront the Indians in a Frontier challenge on Friday, January 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Hillsboro won 69-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Blanchester (Blanchester, OH)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Teays Valley Vikings (Ashville, OH) in a Mid-State - Buckeye challenge, on Friday, January 7. Circleville will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 63-60 non-league loss to New Albany (New Albany, OH).
