Tennessee High School Basketball - Clinton County knocked off by Pickett County
January 4, 2022: Byrdstown, TN 38549 The Pickett County Bobcats basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Clinton County Bulldogs to 50 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay County for a 1A District 7 contest on Friday, January 7. Pickett County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-64 non-league loss to Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets enter the District 16 contest with a 6-4 record.
