January 4, 2022: Hoxie, KS 67740 Hoxie Indians (Hoxie, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Colby Eagles (Colby, KS), 62-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hoxie upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS) to clash with the Monarchs in a Mid-Continent bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Thomas More Prep-Marian won 68-40 in their recent non-league bout against Oakley (Oakley, KS)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Dodge City Demons (Dodge City, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 7. Colby will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 64-21 non-league win over Ulysses (Ulysses, KS).
