January 4, 2022: Columbia, TN 38401 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Columbia Central Lions (Columbia, TN) and the visiting Oakland Patriots (Murfreesboro, TN), saw Columbia Central's basketball squad knock off Oakland by a count of 84-76.
With the victory, Columbia Central upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Page (Franklin, TN) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 7. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Page lost 56-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN)
Next up, the Patriots play the LaVergne Wolverines (LaVergne, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 5. Oakland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 83-67 non-league win over Northeast (Clarksville, TN).
