Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hickory Flat Rebels (Hickory Flat, MS) and the visiting East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS), saw Hickory Flat's basketball squad hold off East Union by a tally of 66-59.

With the victory, Hickory Flat improves its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Walnut (Walnut, MS) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 11.
