January 4, 2022: Linton, IN 47441 The Owen Valley Patriots basketball team (Spencer, IN), was overwhelmed 75-48 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN)
The Miners now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pike Central for a non-league battle on Friday, January 7. Linton-Stockton will battle a Chargers team coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Shoals (Shoals, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 2-6.
The Patriots (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN). The Clovers come into the Western Indiana battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Cloverdale was overwhelmed by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN), 51-20, in a non-league battle.
