In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Pike Central Chargers basketball team scored a good 51-42 triumph over the Shoals Jug Rox.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN) in a Southern Indiana match, on Tuesday, January 11. Pike Central will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.

With the defeat, Shoals moves to 4-4 on the year. The Jug rox host North Knox (Bicknell, IN) to face the Warriors in a Blue Chip match on Friday, January 14.
