Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Charles Catholic overwhelms Ascension Catholic
January 4, 2022: LaPlace, LA 70068 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the visiting Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA), saw St. Charles Catholic's basketball squad wallop Ascension Catholic by a tally of 62-40.
With the victory, St. Charles Catholic improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Comets travel to South Plaquemines (Buras, LA) to confront the Hurricanes in a 2A District 11 challenge on Thursday, January 13. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 5. Ascension Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
