Texas High School Basketball - Eden thwarts Bronte
January 4, 2022: Eden, TX 76837 The Eden Bulldogs (Eden, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Bronte Longhorns (Bronte, TX), 38-27 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Menard (Menard, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A Region II District 12 test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Menard went down by Sterling City (Sterling City, TX), 33-32, in a non-league test.
The Longhorns now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Blackwell for a 1A Region II District 11 test on Friday, January 7. Bronte will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 53-29 non-league win over Brookesmith (Brookesmith, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-8.
