In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), by a margin of 46-31.

The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Center (Center, TX). The Roughriders go into the 4A Region III District 17 outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Center was beaten by Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 52-20, in a non-league outing.
