Michigan High School Basketball - Coloma tipped by Dowagiac
January 4, 2022: Dowagiac, MI 49047 The Dowagiac Chieftains basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Coloma Comets to 28 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chieftains now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edwardsburg for a Wolverine B contest on Friday, January 7. Dowagiac will meet a Eddies team coming off a 72-59 non-league win over Mattawan (Mattawan, MI). The Eddies record now stands at 5-0.
The Comets (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI). The Eagles come into the Southwestern - Valley bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Schoolcraft nipped Galesburg-Augusta (Galesburg, MI), 45-24, in a league bout.
