Michigan High School Basketball - Northwest tops Eaton Rapids
January 4, 2022: Jackson, MI 49201 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) and the visiting Eaton Rapids Greyhounds (Eaton Rapids, MI), saw Northwest's basketball squad knock off Eaton Rapids by a count of 56-38.
With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mounties travel to Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI) to play the Beavers in a Interstate 8 challenge on Friday, January 7. The Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Harper Creek lost 44-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Portage Central (Portage, MI)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Lansing Catholic Cougars (Lansing, MI) in a Capital Area - White challenge, on Friday, January 7. Eaton Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 58-29 non-league win over Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI).
