Michigan High School Basketball - Fruitport ripped by Whitehall
January 4, 2022: Fruitport, MI 49415 The Whitehall Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Fruitport Trojans to 17 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakridge for a Western Michigan contest on Thursday, January 6. Whitehall will meet a Eagles team coming off a 38-37 non-league loss to Coopersville (Coopersville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
The Trojans (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI). The Lakers enter the Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Spring Lake was routed by Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI), 51-45, in a non-league contest.
