Iowa High School Basketball - Roland-Story overwhelms Iowa Falls-Alden
January 4, 2022: Story City, IA 50248 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) and the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), saw Roland-Story's basketball squad wallop Iowa Falls-Alden by a tally of 54-32.
With the victory, Roland-Story improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to West Marshall (State Center, IA) to confront the Trojans in a Heart of Iowa challenge on Friday, January 7. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. West Marshall won 69-24 in their recent non-league challenge against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)
Next up, the Cadets confront the Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) in a North Central challenge, on Friday, January 7. Iowa Falls-Alden will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 60-30 non-league loss to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA).
