Iowa High School Basketball - Montezuma overwhelms Keota
January 4, 2022: Montezuma, IA 50171 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) and the visiting Keota Eagles (Keota, IA), saw Montezuma's basketball squad wallop Keota by a count of 46-22.
With the victory, Montezuma upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Braves host English Valleys (North English, IA) to play the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Friday, January 7. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. English Valleys won 49-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland (Riverside, IA)
Next up, the Eagles play the H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Friday, January 7. Keota will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 50-32 league win over Tri-County (Thornburg, IA).
