Ohio High School Basketball - Waynesfield-Goshen ripped by New Knoxville
January 4, 2022: Waynesfield, OH 45896 The New Knoxville Rangers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers to 19 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rangers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. New Knoxville will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 48-41 league win over Fairlawn (Sidney, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.
The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their bout against Fairlawn (Sidney, OH). The Jets come into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Fairlawn was crushed by Houston (Houston, OH), 48-41, in a league bout.
