Texas High School Basketball - Winters overwhelmed by Water Valley
January 4, 2022: Winters, TX 79567 The Winters Blizzards basketball team (Winters, TX), was overwhelmed 49-18 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Water Valley Wildcats (Water Valley, TX)
The Wildcats now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robert Lee for a 1A Region II District 11 battle on Friday, January 7. Water Valley will battle a Steers team coming off a 50-40 non-league win over Ozona (Ozona, TX). The Steers record now stands at 5-0.
The Blizzards (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 2A Region I District 8 battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Forsan was overwhelmed by Wink (Wink, TX), 41-34, in a non-league battle.
