Arizona High School Soccer - Buckeye overwhelmed by Prescott
January 4, 2022: Prescott, AZ 86301 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ) and the visiting Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ), saw Prescott's soccer squad triumph over Buckeye by a count of 11-0.
The Badgers now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lee Williams for a 4A Grand Canyon test on Tuesday, January 11. Prescott will meet a Volunteers squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Volunteers record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Buckeye drops to 1-5 on the season. The Hawks host Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-2. Mesquite won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ)
