The Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team (Kernersville, NC), was nudged 55-52 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC)

The Spartans now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raleigh Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. The Burlington School will battle a Eagles team coming off a 72-63 non-league loss to Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-15.
