Arkansas High School Basketball - England overwhelms Carlisle
January 4, 2023: England, AR 72046 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the England Lions (England, AR) and the visiting Carlisle Bison (Carlisle, AR), saw England's basketball squad wallop Carlisle by a tally of 84-52.
With the victory, England improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Bigelow (Bigelow, AR) to confront the Panthers in a 2A Region 5 challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-1.
Next up, the Bison confront the Barton Bears (Lexa, AR) in a 2A Region 6 challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Carlisle will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 44-35 non-league win over Dollarway (Pine Bluff, AR).
