New York High School Basketball - Christian Brothers Academy overwhelms Cazenovia
January 4, 2023: Syracuse, NY 13214 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY) and the visiting Cazenovia Lakers (Cazenovia, NY), witnessed Christian Brothers Academy's basketball squad crush Cazenovia by a margin of 66-32.
The Brothers (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Syracuse Academy of Science (Syracuse, NY). The Atoms go into the Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty Central test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Syracuse Academy of Science was trounced by Marcellus (Marcellus, NY), 61-44, in a non-league test.
The Lakers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mexico for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Cazenovia will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 45-36 non-league loss to Pulaski (Pulaski, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
