The Tarpon Springs Spongers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders to 50 in the Spongers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spongers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Marauders (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dunedin (Dunedin, FL). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Dunedin was defeated by Robinson (Tampa, FL), 72-53, in a non-league contest.
