January 4, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA) basketball nipped the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 53-51 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA). The Tempest go into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Trinity at Meadow View was tipped by Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 69-19, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle for a Jefferson test on Friday, January 6. Monticello will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 58-48 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-1.
