January 4, 2023: Pontiac, MI 48340 The University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs (Detroit, MI) basketball crushed the host Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI), 86-59 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cubs (7-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Eaglets go into the Catholic Central test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, St. Mary's Prep walloped Edison Academy (Detroit, MI), 62-42, in a non-league test.
The Fighting Irish now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Goodrich for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Notre Dame Prep will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 67-23 non-league win over St. Clair (St. Clair, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 5-0.
