The Horizon Huskies basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Casa Grande Cougars to 30 in the Huskies non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Huskies now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a 5A Northeast Valley contest on Friday, January 6. Horizon will battle a Firebirds team coming off a 60-38 non-league loss to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 5-7.

The Cougars (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Colts come into the 5A San Tan contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Casteel prevailed over Ironwood (Glendale, AZ), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
