Ohio High School Basketball - Chalker overwhelms McKinley
January 4, 2023: Sebring, OH 44672 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Chalker Wildcats (Southington, OH) and the host McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), saw Chalker's basketball squad wallop McKinley by a count of 62-27.
With the victory, Chalker upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. John (Ashtabula, OH) to play the Fighting Herald in a Freelance challenge on Monday, January 9. The Fighting Herald come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. St. John lost 52-38 in their recent league challenge against Windham (Windham, OH)
Next up, the Trojans play the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge, on Thursday, January 5. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 52-49 league loss to McDonald (McDonald, OH).
