January 4, 2023: Chillicothe, OH 45601 The Vinton County Vikings basketball team (McArthur, OH), was overwhelmed 53-25 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Chillicothe Cavaliers (Chillicothe, OH)
The Cavaliers now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a Frontier battle on Saturday, January 7. Chillicothe will confront a Blue Lions team coming off a 51-43 non-league loss to New Hope Christian Academy (Circleville, OH). The Blue Lions record now stands at 1-11.
The Vikings (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Raiders come into the Tri-Valley - Ohio battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, River Valley was overwhelmed by Berne Union (Sugar Grove, OH), 52-25, in a non-league battle.
