Kentucky High School Basketball - Pendleton County nips Grant County
January 4, 2023: Dry Ridge, KY 41035 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) and the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), saw Pendleton County's basketball squad hold off Grant County by a tally of 58-52.
With the victory, Pendleton County improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY) to play the Juggernauts in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Juggernauts come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.
Next up, the Braves play the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) in a District 32 challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Grant County will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY).
