The Walton Warriors basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Laurens Central Leopards to 45 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unadilla Valley for a Section 4 Midstate contest on Friday, January 6. Walton will meet a Storm team coming off a 42-17 league loss to Unatego (Otego, NY). The Storm record now stands at 4-6.

The Leopards (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Edmeston Central (Edmeston, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 4 Tri-Valley contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Edmeston Central was outscored by South Kortright Central (South Kortright, NY), 46-28, in a non-league contest.
