January 4, 2023: Overland Park, KS 66215 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Shawnee Mission South Raiders (Shawnee Mission, KS) and the host Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS), saw Shawnee Mission South's basketball squad knock off Aquinas by a tally of 46-36.
With the victory, Shawnee Mission South improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Shawnee Mission West (Shawnee Mission, KS) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Shawnee Mission West lost 52-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Olathe East (Olathe, KS)
Next up, the Saints play the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies (Overland Park, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 56-36 non-league loss to Topeka (Topeka, KS).
