January 4, 2023: Chaparral, NM 88081 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), by a margin of 48-23.
The Lobos (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rockets go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Goddard was trounced by Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 26-25, in a non-league outing.
The Chiefs now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Alamo Navajo for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7.
