Virginia High School Basketball - Culpeper County knocked off by Manassas Park
January 4, 2023: Culpeper, VA 22701 The Manassas Park Cougars basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Culpeper County Blue Devils to 29 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park View for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Manassas Park will meet a Patriots team coming off a 37-1 non-league win over Independence (Ashburn, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
The Blue Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, James Monroe ran past Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 34-30, in a non-league contest.
