Florida High School Basketball - Oviedo nips University
January 4, 2023: Oviedo, FL 32765 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Oviedo Lions (Oviedo, FL) and the visiting University Titans (Orange City, FL), saw Oviedo's basketball squad hold off University by a tally of 24-23.
With the victory, Oviedo improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Winter Park (Winter Park, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Winter Park won 37-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Windermere (Windermere, FL)
Next up, the Titans play the DeLand Bulldogs (DeLand, FL) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. University will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
