Florida High School Basketball - Boone tipped by Lake Nona
January 4, 2023: Orlando, FL 32806 The Lake Nona Lions basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Boone Braves to 49 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Florida Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Lake Nona will meet a Eagles team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Evans (Orlando, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
The Braves (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Creek (Orlando, FL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Cypress Creek was nudged by Oak Ridge (Orlando, FL), 62-46, in a league contest.
