Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) and the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), saw Eastern Randolph's basketball squad hold off Jordan-Matthews by a count of 52-48.

With the victory, Eastern Randolph upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6.
