California High School Basketball - Vista knocked off by El Camino
January 4, 2023: Vista, CA 92084 The El Camino Wildcats basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Vista Panthers to 26 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oceanside for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. El Camino will battle a Pirates team coming off a 71-29 non-league win over Escondido (Escondido, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-4.
The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 15-0 record. In their last contest, Torrey Pines ran past La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA), 71-37, in a non-league contest.
