Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Monroe Red Jackets (Rochester, NY), 60-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Aquinas Institute upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Little Irish travel to Webster Thomas (Webster, NY) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Red Jackets play the World of Inquiry Griffins (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Rochester City - Lower bout, on Thursday, January 11. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
