Louisiana High School Basketball - Houma Christian overwhelmed by Benjamin Franklin
January 4, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70122 The Benjamin Franklin Falcons basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Houma Christian Warriors to 40 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Benjamin Franklin will battle a team coming off a 44-38 non-league win over Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA). The record now stands at 11-6.
The Warriors (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, St. Charles Catholic was routed by Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA), 59-53, in a non-league contest.
