Minnesota High School Basketball - Blooming Prairie crushes Chatfield
January 4, 2024: Chatfield, MN 55923 Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN), 76-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Blooming Prairie upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Awesome Blossoms travel to Maple River (Mapleton, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Maple River lost 53-31 in their recent non-league bout against Ellendale (Ellendale, ND)
Next up, the Gophers play the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) in a AA Section 1 bout, on Monday, January 8. Chatfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 89-65 league loss to Lake City (Lake City, MN).
