Oklahoma High School Basketball - Waurika knocked off by Dewar
January 4, 2024: Dewar, OK 74431 The Dewar Dragons basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Waurika Eagles to 25 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Dragons now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Dewar will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 58-30 non-league win over Fletcher (Fletcher, OK). The Bronchos record now stands at 8-3.
The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fletcher (Fletcher, OK). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Fletcher was defeated by Central (Marlow, OK), 58-30, in a non-league contest.
