Missouri High School Basketball - Naylor crushes Marquand-Zion
January 4, 2024: Marquand, MO 63655 Naylor Eagles (Naylor, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Marquand-Zion Tigers (Marquand, MO), 63-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Naylor upgrades its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Neelyville (Neelyville, MO) to play the Tigers in a Ozark Foothills bout on Friday, January 5. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-6.
Next up, the Tigers play the Southern Reynolds Whippets (Ellington, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Marquand-Zion will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Whippets come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 61-53 league win over East Carter (Ellsinore, MO).
