Valliant Bulldogs (Valliant, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK), 51-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valliant upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Coalgate (Coalgate, OK) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-9. Coalgate lost 41-36 in their recent non-league bout against Savanna (Savanna, OK)

Next up, the Golden Tigers play the Calera Bulldogs (Calera, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Talihina will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 40-34 league loss to Rock Creek (Bokchito, OK).
