January 4, 2024: Humboldt, IA 50548 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA) and the visiting Belmond-Klemme Broncos (Belmond, IA), saw Humboldt's basketball squad hold off Belmond-Klemme by a tally of 37-33.
With the victory, Humboldt improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Webster City (Webster City, IA) to confront the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Lynx come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Webster City lost 56-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Nevada (Nevada, IA)
Next up, the Broncos confront the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears (Algona, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Belmond-Klemme will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 67-31 non-league win over West Hancock (Britt, IA).
