North Carolina High School Basketball - Chatham HomeSchool tops Wilson Christian Academy
January 4, 2024: Pittsboro, NC Chatham HomeSchool Thunder (Pittsboro, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wilson Christian Academy Chargers (Wilson, NC), 57-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chatham HomeSchool upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to South Wake (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to play the Sabres in a North Carolina Home Education - East bout on Friday, January 12. The Sabres come into the bout with a record of 9-4.
Next up, the Chargers play the Southside Christian Warriors (Clayton, NC) in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 5. Wilson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 33-23 league loss to Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC).
