January 4, 2024: Gilbertville, IA 50634 Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), 36-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Colo-NESCO upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Royals host Madrid (Madrid, IA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Madrid lost 55-11 in their recent non-league bout against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA)
Next up, the Dons play the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Don Bosco will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 52-28 league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA).
